Baldwin Gallery is pleased to announce its fourth show by New York artist Sebastian Blanck. Blanck takes inspiration from the world around him and combines painting, printing techniques, and collage to produce a tableau of finely focused intimate settings. His compositions converse with impressionism, Japonisme and pop art, and reveal scenes of domestic simplicity with a closeness and quietude highlighting the beauty of everyday interactions and personal relationships.

Born in Connecticut, Blanck earned a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1998, and he was a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome in 2001.
